How to Sign Up
4th graders start the registration process in April.
Easy as 1-2-3
STEP 1 - ALL 4th graders attend an assembly on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 to hear the instruments of the band. All parents sign and return the permission slip by Fri. Apr. 11, 2025.
STEP 2 - Any 4th grader has a fun opportunity to try two instruments between April 28 - May 2, 2025. Parents sign and return the permission slip by Fri. Apr. 11, 2025.
STEP 3 - Parents register for band on Monday, May 5, 2025 from 3:00 - 8:00 PM. @ the CORE Center, 300 Commerce Drive. This is an open house where you can meet your teacher, order supplies, and register for band with D47. Quinlan & Fabish will be there to take your order for an instrument rental and supplies as needed. Mon. May 5th anytime from 3-8pm. See you at the CORE Center.

Band Supplies
you need for 5th grade. Most families rent an instrument unless you already own one.
We suggest that parents order an instrument and/or supplies from Quinlan & Fabish (800) 637-6872, which is District 47s preferred vendor. They have a list of everything you will need, including the preferred makes and models of each instrument. Please ask them to deliver your order to the school in time for our first class in Fall.

***IMPORTANT: Everyone must have a book entitled “Habits of a Successful Beginner Band Musician,” a music stand with a carrying case, an instrument in good condition, and various supplies for cleaning and maintenance. - ParentVUE
Parents who register for band with D47 for the 2025-2026 school year can expect a $35 fee to appear in ParentVue. Pay your band fee online at Synergy ParentVUE Access - Pay Fees in about 30-60 days.
